Opportunity for MBA/PGP Aspirants: IIM Kashipur Launches CAP 2024 Admission Process

Greetings, future leaders! Big news for students with dreams of pursuing an MBA/PGP program – the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur is set to conduct the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2024 for admissions into MBA/PGP programs across ten IIMs.

What’s unique this year? Well, the CAP family has grown with the inclusion of IIM Nagpur, making it a thrilling opportunity for a wider range of students. The CAP process, held annually, is a crucial step in shortlisting and interviewing candidates for these prestigious programs.

Now, let’s talk numbers. The CAT results are out, and the cut-offs for shortlisting candidates for the Personal Interview (PI) process under CAP 2024 have been announced. General category students achieving a 94 percentile score are eligible for the PI process. Similarly, candidates from EWS and NC-OBC categories need a 77 percentile, while SC category applicants require a 60 percentile. Candidates from the ST and DAP categories need a 40 percentile to qualify for the exam.

Remember, shortlisting for PI is based solely on percentile cut-offs. Candidates must have selected the flagship MBA/PGP programs in at least one of the participating IIMs during the CAT form filling to be considered.

Excitement doesn’t end there! In the latter half of January, IIM Kashipur will start sending out Personal Interview shortlist notification emails, coinciding with the opening of the PI registration portal. It’s a mandatory step for all shortlisted candidates to register on the PI portal to participate in the interview process.

Once the engaging Personal Interview process wraps up, each participating IIM will craft its unique merit list and commence sending out those coveted admission offers. This marks a significant opportunity for students to embark on their management education journey. Best of luck to all the enthusiastic candidates out there – the adventure begins now!
